Ban Appeal

Recommended Posts

  1. Name (This is the name you were using when you were banned) - Moose

  2. GUID - I don't know what this is.

  3. Banning Admin - I don't know who did it.

  4. Admin’s Reason for Ban - I think it said wall hack.

  5. Your Side of the Story - I certainly wasn't using a wall hack. I doubt that it is even possible for me to do on an 11ish yr old mac. Would like to see what someone saw that even slightly looked like a wall hack or whatever that is.

I see demo 2 and 3 are pretty much the same. I have watched demo one (no number in brackets) before and have commented on this video. In Demo One I see no evidence of wall hack, I see every kill moose make and some he missed, I again found myself telling him to turn in the direction of sound, but he doesn't, guess his sound is stereo only. Throughout demo one moose is texting with that annoying The Weekend, a player who likes to spam the chat with nonsense, and misses obvious kills due to his slow typing skills (I cannot bash him as my typing SUCKS). Demo two and three in Crossfire, again, IMHO, show zero evidence of walling. I see enemies running past windows to pop out at exits, I see people kneeling in nooks when he jumps, I see all of his kills but no evidence of a wall hack. When he is hiding at the top of the stairs and gets three or so kills in a row, I see them all, this is where Orion states "See that one?" even here I see no evidence of walling, or any type of tracing or pre aiming or anything. He gets his ass handed to him by knucklehead and -cro- for most of that demo with kills on moose coming from them that I was surprised by. Anyway, these demos, again, IMHO, show that moose is clean, and a slow typer with stereo sound.

Looking forward to hearing others opinions.

In my eyes, Moose doesn't use wallhack.  I don't see him tracing others through the walls. Neither in the pipeline nor in Crossfire. He ran past too many opponents that he should have seen if he used a wallhack and he missed too much targets - as he seems to had no time enough to aim better.   I also couldn't see that he started aiming before his opponent came out from behind a wall.
What sometimes looks suspicious is that he is hiding behind a wall and pausing for a moment - as if he could see something behind it - but mostly there was nothing behind the wall.
It is often difficult to decide in the game because situations are always in originalspeed sees. When we watch the recordings, we can repeat suspicious situations and may see then, what we did not see when we first looked at them.
... so - my opinion - no wallhack.
I also would looking forward to hearing others opinions

I agree with @i-G.Leon on all points. When i first watched the record in map Pipeline a few weeks ago, i thought it was suspicious. But finally, after a re-watch, nothing. That's why it's sometimes important to take time to watch a record with more "distance". Nothing suspicious in the second record also. I can understand Orion interrogation. In kill-cam you can only see the few seconds before the kill. There he probably saw moose waiting in the corner and moving when Orion arrived. But in the real context, moose was calling a UAV and moved just after calling it.

So no wallhack for me.

First off, I have posted but not banned this player previously for suspicious gameplay.  It is odd to me that his gameplay changes a good bit at times when I have watched him play.  We have had comments and discussion regarding this player in a post I made earlier this year.

As for these demos, the pipeline demo is most notable in my eyes for the fantastic hip fire accuracy using different guns.  At times I use the SAW (when necessary) and I cannot seem to hit something that is right in front of me as I spray bullets far and wide of the target.  He seems to hit targets with ease using different weapons without looking down the sight.  The pipeline video does have a couple of suspicious kills for me but alone is not enough for a ban.  The crossfire demo is a totally different story.  This video does not show evidence of cheats in my opinion but instead shows moose getting totally wrecked by knucklehead and cro.

In total, I have my doubts about this player in general but not enough to ban on the demos presented above in my opinion.
